Product Alert! MAC's Spring Color Forcast

Yet another must have collection from MAC cosmetics!  These collections feature colors from four different groups Pink's, Coral, Plum's, and Amber.  The Amber collection to me is just blah....a few neutrals that I can really do without, but I will say that the quads in the pink and plum collection is a must have.  For those die hard MAC fans this is something to add to your makeup collection but for the pros I say save your money.  You know there are only 1 or 2 shades that will actually make it to your kit and MAC will surly discontinue them before you know it. Boooooooooo!!!  Then again I'm still pissed that they won't bring back Studio Mist Foundation.  Now will I get a quad or two for personal use yes I will but will it make my pro kit, not really.  Check out the video.....regardless of the collection MAC knows how to make a commercial!!!

MAC's Smoke & Diamonds Pics

Hey Luvlies!!! I decided to do a quick video to show you a look I wore to a friends party. That night I used Ben Nye's Final Seal to set the look and I am impressed with the way everything held up after hours in the club so thumbs up for that.

What I Used:
Graftobian HD Cream foundation
MAC Studio Fix powder NC50
MAC Love Joy blush (mineral)
MAC Smoke & Diamonds shadow (limited edition)
Black mineral shadow
Avon eyeliner & Mascara
Lashes Style 213 (*these are from my collection and will be available for sale in the near future)
MAC Dazzle Cream Sublime (my new neutral fav*)

Look of the day!

Hello lovlies!!!

So for this look of the day I really wanted to have something that was full of shimmer and drama at the same time. I decided to use MAC's Fashion Patch mineral eyeshadow quad (the pink and black) because many times we buy these products and just forget about them because something new comes out. I also used Mehron's E.Y.E cream in slate grey and Black as a base along with my usual eye primer to really make the color pop!! This isn't usually my smokey eye but I do love the way the colors just blend together. I skipped the lashes and used two coats of NYX Doll Eye Mascara and a shimmering pink lipstick to finish the look.

Push the Edge Tutorial

I went shopping this week and was so very drawn to the Push the Edge pigment in the new MAC collection I just had to have it. I decided to go with a slightly smokey look that to me can be worn day or evening. Check out the video it's a super easy look and I just love it, I may add lashes if I'm going out to the club or something. Enjoy everyone and as always Be Beautiful...

Foundation: MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC50 and Sephora's Blush duo #2

Be sure to have your small fan brush to sweep away fallout and a large fan brush for blush. Also a blender brush for blending colors in the crease

MAC's Push the Edge pigment, Coastal Scents gel eyeliner in black, NYX Doll Eye mascara, Sephora's eyeliner in black, small blender brush, angled liner brush, and large fluffy brush for highlight.

And here is the final look, I so love purple!! Oh and NYX Chestnut gloss was used, it is a fab neutral gloss for my skintone.

MAC Cosmetics Update: Mixing Medium Face & Body

In my most recent trip to the MAC Pro store I just found out that the Face & Body mixing medium is on hold due to packaging problems. So who knows when this MAC favorite will be hitting pro stores again. Now lets be clear it has NOT been discontinued but it has been put on hold until the new packaging is given the ok then it will be back on shelves. So for those of you who are like me and have used all your mixing medium try something my MUFE or Ben Nye.

Sigma SS109 Brush Update

Hello lovelies!!! I have some news concerning the Sigma SS109 brush, looks like this brush will not be back on the website until mid September. This is one of Sigma's most requested brushes so it tends to sell out quickly and with it being sooooo very close to the original MAC 109 brush this is a must have. I suggest purchasing 2 of these brushes as you will find out that they are a god sent to have in your makeup kit. It's great for concealer, spot foundation, blending and contouring...see it's well worth the money and Sigma makes it even more worth the money. Until next time.....B Beautiful

IN MY KIT Vol. 3

For most MUA's this is a very familar bottle... yes it is the one and only Face & Body Mixing Medium. This multi-purpose product can be used for just about anything when on set which makes it a must have and sold out product. A few ways I use this product is with concealer or foundation to thin it out and provide more coverage. I also mix this with loose mineral powders to make a more intense color for the eye or eyeliner and it comes out beautifully.
Well worth the money and a must have!!! If there was any one product that you must have in your kit as a makeup artist this is it but be sure to keep in mind that this is a MAC Pro product and you have to have a Pro card.

R.I.P Studio Mist Foundation

As most of you may or may not know I have been trying to put off the inevitable.....having to replace my MAC Studio Mist foundation. Believe me beauties I have written MAC several times with my own little campaign to bring back this amazing foundation. Believe me this foundation will be missed but as my can goes dry I have no other choice but to replace it. So now begins my journey to replace THE BEST foundation in MAC history......DAMN YOU MAC!!!! I will most likely have to replace this one go to foundation with 2 different brands simply to fit the needs of my very different customers. So let the search begin.........
