What in Beauty Pageant Hell!!!!

For all those who did turn into view this years Miss America Pageant I know you are just as schocked as i am that Miss Michigan won!! First off let me commend the Miss America Organization for there attempt to reinvent the pageant but let's face it this pageant is still missing out on quite a few things. A proper winner should be at the top of there list! First we had the reality tv show which was a really great boost because let's face it anybody who is anybody has a reality show, I think it makes you more likeable and 'real'. (Haha it even sounded funny when I typed it) I think the jury is out on this whole making Miss America the new 'IT' girl maybe if she went to rehab or got arrested and then cried on camera about it, then she'll be in the running to be the next 'IT' girl. I like the rest of you watched the pageant only because it was like the finally of the reality show and I must say the changes that they have made are not the best. Like calling the contestants who aren't going on to the next round or having all the girls sit there in there talent costumes only to find out that two of them will not be performing. I mean I do hope that MA will go back look at the tape and say 'What the f$%k were we thinking!'

Especially when it came to the crowning!! Because I would have had a fit if I lost out to that off key chick who is now wearing the MA crown!! I sat strait up in my seat becasue I really thought she wasn't even going to place in the pageant at all and here comes her name being called as the 2008 Miss America. Maybe they couldn't hear how off key she was becasue I know it came across loud and clear on my television. Oh well it's always next year for MA lord knows they still have a ton of changes that need to be made.........
Check out Miss Washington and Miss District of Columbia who were my top two choices for the winner

I hope the rest of you were as horrified by this gown as I was!! There is always Miss USA 2008!!

Don't Call It A Comeback!!!!!

So I know that I have not been on my blogging game but believe me that will all change for 2008!! Your favorite High Maintenance Girl has returned with not only a new website but also a whole new outlook on life and beauty. So get ready for all that is High Maintenance!!
A few changes have been made to the format, post will now be up on a daily basis and will focus on beauty and skin care. A little bit of fashion here and there but mostly beauty and skincare. There will also be videos from yours truly showing you how all your favorite products work or if they don't work.
I am really excited about the new format and new additions to the blog, let me know what you think good or bad!!
