Trend Watch 8-28-07

Could it be that fall is right around the corner.......well this weekend it is Labor Day and the unofficial start to the fall/winter season. So I decided that it's time to roll out one of the newest articles that will be on the blog from now on Trend Watch!! So in this articles we will take a quick look at whats going to be oh so hot for this fall, as you know every year there has always been those staple pieces that every High Maintenance girl MUST have in there closet.

First up we are going to take a look at the belts which have been making some serious statements over the past 2-3 seasons but this fall the belt is getting wider, more colorful and even a little metallic!! Check out these two examples that i found online and trust this is one trend that i will follow up on.

OOOOhhh this is going to be a look that we are going to see on the streets a lot this fall. I love the muted color grey with the pop of the red double buckle corset inspired belt. Fashioistas everywhere should take note this with some red tights going into a matching boot. I can see it now.

Beyonce, can she every do anything wrong in the world of fashion? This chick is going to sigle handedly start a trend with this belt right here!! I just LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! Believe me we have not seen the last of the metal corset belt, I'm dying to see the more inexpensive version of this hot fetish piece. These next two looks are going to be beast one fall really hits. I'm so loving the brightly colored dress with jet black tights that go into a black mary jane heel. But what really brings in this look is the skinny black belt. Now while the wide belt is starting to make its move in the fashion world that doesn't mean that your skinny belts should get the boot. Just look at how it sooooo perfectly translates into a fab office look! I may have to take you all on a shopping trip to find these fab looks for less!!!

Last but definitly not least is a look that I think is going to be all over the place from NY to LA this fall. This look is going to just be it....what is it you ask well it's the over the knee sock!! I know this is really grade school but believe me these are NOT your 3rd grade uniform socks they have bold bright colors, prints and can even be a little sexy. With short skirts and tunics all the rage this season you have to step up your hosiery wardrobe. Yes hosiery will now have a wardrobe!!! So after visiting many websites to find the next big print that will change the game here comes Stockingirl.com with some of the hottest print thigh highs and tights I have every seen!!

I can just see it now walking the streets of Manhattan in my bright tights with a fab Cashmere tunic and flat boot with a scarf around my neck. It's soooooo fall 07 and I absolutely love it and encourage it. Trust me I am so one who only owned black stockings for years colors and prints are soooo refreshing and welcomed.
